摘要:

Achieving an efficient method to separate cis-trans isomers of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid remains a formidable challenge within the chemical industry. Here, we have synthesized a Co(II)-based dynamic metal-organic framework material involving the coordination of 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. Single-crystal Xray diffraction and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis confirmed that only pure trans-1,4cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid was present in all synthesized crystals, a characteristic that can be utilized for the separation of the cis- and trans-isomers of 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. Moreover, the MOF crystals displayed reversible structural changes and were capable of releasing the pure trans-isomer through ion exchange with a salt solution, underscoring their potential for applications in molecular separation.
