摘要:

A new method of synthesizing the high temperature superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O7 with high aspect ratio platelike grains was studied and the superconducting connectivity between the grains by using Bean model was also investigated. The results indicate that there is a naturally arising superconducting connectivity between adjacent platelike grains. This connectivity exists within clusters of platelike grains with similar growth orientation, typically extending across 3-5 grains at 77 K. The effects of the oxygen annealing temperature and duration on the extent of the connectivity were also studied sysmetically.
