Social　demand　on　high-quality　software　has　become　more　and　more　imperative.　Software　testing　is　an　important　means　to　guarantee　the　software　quantity.　Thus,　how　to　cultivate　skilled　software　testers　is　an　arduous　task　for　education　community.　Therefore　the　goal　of　software　testing　course　is　not　only　to　teach　students　a　complete　theory　on　software　testing,　but　also　to　cultivate　practical　ability.　In　this　paper　we　propose　the　case　teaching　method　to　optimize　the　teaching　mode　and　discuss　how　to　stimulate　the　initiative　and　enthusiasm　of　students.　And　the　paper　explores　the　way　to　carry　out　organized　case　teaching　activities　with　open　source　software.　The　innovation　ability　of　students　in　practice　is　enhanced　as　a　result.
