Abstract:

In order to enable trip modes cooperate efficiently and improve the transportation system efficiency, this paper presents a two-step planning method and it consists of macroscopic location planning and microscopic location planning. Macroscopic location planning is based on the analysis of area importance indicator, and this indicator mainly takes into account space distance and OD volume between traffic analysis areas. Microscopic location planning is based on the analysis of node importance indicator, and this indicator is calculated according to network topological structure indicators. Feasible aggregate of transfer center comprises nodes that meet the demand of land use for construction. On the basis of the result of the two-step planning analysis, transfer center location planning scheme is put forward. A case study is given to introduce the cocation procedure for the urban transfer centers.
