This　paper　attempts　to　quantify　the　effects　of　trust　on　the　network　performance　and　structural　evolution　of　a　service　network　to　further　apply　trust　to　cooperation　among　individuals.　Based　on　an　existing　service　network　model,　two　different　strategies　for　partner　selection,　i.e.,　trust-based　and　random　are　devised,　and　their　effects　are　observed.　Experimental　results　show　that　the　network　with　the　trust-based　strategy　can　accomplish　various　services　with　a　higher　probability,　compared　with　the　network　with　random　strategy.　Moreover,　the　trust-based　partner　selection　can　make　the　network　quickly　converge　to　an　equilibrium　state,　i.e.,　the　values　of　its　structural　characteristics　remain　stable.
