Abstract:
The result of treating aureomycin hydrochloride wastewater with High Performance Compact Reactor indicates that the removal rate of COD achieves above 70%, in spite of the wastewater COD content reaching up to 20 g/L, NH3-N to 2-3 g/L, and a large amount of remained autibiotic that can envenom micro-organism. At the same time, the process can also remove certainly NH3-N, and the efficiency of reactor is not affected by SO42- content. So we can draw a conclusion that it is feasible to make use of HCR as the first step for treating wastewater.
