摘要:

This paper proposes an infrared diffusion imaging and multi-point calibration method to measure the far-field beam quality parameters of the high-power laser. The high-energy pulse laser spot's images are obtained with an imaging detector by laying the diffuse reflection target in far field. The pulse-width and peak power of the laser are measured using an energy detector which is put behind a hole at the center of the target plane. According to the energy calibration of the laser spot's images, the energy and power distribution, the total energy and the corresponding beam quality parameters of the far field high-energy pulse laser beam are attained. This method has been applied to measuring the parameters of a high-energy TEA CO2 laser. The measured cross-section radius of far-field beam was 80.2 mm and the divergence angle was 1.55 mrad.
