Abstract:

In order to meet a variety of demands of resident trip and improve the level of service of PT (public transit) system and solve the problem of network structure, this paper presents a planning method for multi-hierarchy public transit route network that is based on the idea of serving for district, plan layer by layer, optimizing for PT network. On the assumption that railway routing planning is completed, layout planning for multimodal terminals is implemented, the optimization object of rapid transit route is to maximize network efficiency, and the optimization object of bus route is to maximize nonstop bus passenger density, and the optimization object of branch bus route is to maximize the numbers of stops covered by bus route. Every hierarchy network's constraint condition and location optimization method is different, and its planning flow is built.
