摘要:

The propagation of elastic shear waves in two-dimensional (2D) phononic crystals with square-like Archimedean lattices consisting of ladybug and bathroom lattices arrays of circular aluminum rods in epoxy was investigated using plane wave expansion method. Compared with square lattice, it is found that square-like Archimedean lattices have some band gaps in higher frequencies and the wider band gaps for bathroom lattice in the range of higher frequencies. In addition, there are the wider band gaps of isotropy for ladybug lattice in lower frequencies. On the same conditions, the effects of normalized band gap width and ratio of scatter radius and it's the nearest distance for square-like Archimedean and square lattices are analyzed in detail. The results show that square-like Archimedean lattices can obtain easily band gaps than square lattice.
