According to the single extreme value feature of the relationship curve of adhesion coefficient between tire and road versus slip rate, the fuzzy self-optimizing control algorithm is applied to the research on the controller for vehicle pneumatic ABS, and the effective control of the algorithm over vehicle pneumatic ABS is verified through hardware in the loop testing. Compared with traditional logic threshold algorithm, fuzzy self-optimizing control algorithm has the features of simpler structure and the adaptability to the changes of road surface.
