In　order　to　achieve　the　healthy　cycle　of　urban　water　system　and　the　sustainable　development　of　human　society,　the　root　of　the　crisis　of　water　was　analyzed.　Starting　from　the　concept　of　ecology　with　scientific　analysis　method,　the　cycle　law　of　natural　resources,　the　ideological　roots　of　the　relationship　between　human　and　nature,　and　the　disadvantages　in　pursuiting　economic　development　with　traditional　production　modes　were　demonstrated.　Strategies　are　put　forward　for　the　changes　of　the　function　of　traditional　drainage　system　as　well　as　the　patterns　of　water　use,　and　for　the　healthy　cycle　of　social　water　and　the　water　environment　recovery.　By　grasping　and　using　the　laws　of　nature,　limiting　human　activities　in　a　natural　ecological　balance,　the　balance　of　ecosystems　can　be　maintained　and　sustainable　development　can　be　achieved.
