摘要:
Nd3+:Y3Al5O12 (Nd:YAG) laser crystal doped 1.2% in mole Nd3+ was grown by the Czochralski method. The absorption spectrum from 300 to 3000 nm of Nd:YAG crystal and its fluorescence spectra by excitation with an 808 nm laser were measured at room temperature. The positions of the Stark energy levels of the Nd3+ ion in the Nd:YAG crystal were corrected. The results show that the 1.3m wavelength laser of the Nd:YAG crystal has 'eye safe' characteristics and low atmospheric absorption, and can be applied in optical communication, remote sensing (lidar) or surgery. The 473 nm blue laser propagated corresponding to a 4F3/2 → 4I9/2 transition with 946 nm light by second harmonic frequency generation (SHG) can be applied for high density optical storage and printing colored laser displays. The 561 nm yellow laser propagating a 4F3/2 → 4I9/2 transition with 1122 nm light by SHG can be used for a light source of biomicroscopes.
