Abstract:

Municipal wastewater recycle is an important measure for resolving water crisis and maintaining urban sustainable development. In this thesis, the characters of requirement and urgency of municipal wastewater recycle were emphasized. According to traditional concepts, there was contradiction between phosphorus and nitrogen removal from biology aspect. Based on new techniques of phosphorus and nitrogen removal, new concepts and technics as a whole were discussed for municipal wastewater reclamation in order to promote municipal wastewater recycle with lower energy and substance cost.
