摘要:
Non-thermal plasma technology is currently facing two bottleneck problems-energy consumption and byproducts control. For resolving these two problems, a series of experiments using non-thermal plasma technology coupled with adsorption and catalysis for toluene removal was carried out. Our aim is to resolve these two problems. In the experiment, the corresponding electric field strength, energy density, removal efficiency, energy efficiency, ozone production rates and other reaction parameters, such as by-products, were studied with different packed materials in the plasma reactor. The results show the synergistic technology resulted in greater enhancement of toluene removal efficiency (up to 98.7%) and energy efficiency and a better inhibition for O3 and the other byproducts formation in the gas exhaust.
