Roaming technology is a very important component in the virtual reality, so that people at home can appreciate the scenic spots and historical sites from all parts of the virtual world. In this paper, a 3-dimensional model of virtual Badmionton Venue for Olympic Games with different complexity was achieved on the basis of the developing platform, which adapted the software of Creator and Vega Prime, combined Visual C++ and OpenGL language, improved mesh simplified algorithms. According to the lacking interface of Vega Prime, the friendly user's interface and roaming system was constructed, it helped people find out the distribution situation of the seat in venues before entering Olympic Games badminton hall, and helped the administrator organize the order of venues. The experiment proves that this system has very good interaction and real-time operation.
