In order to make up hybrid FRP composites with excellent comprehensive properties, the uniaxial tensile properties of hybrid composites between aramid fiber, basalt fiber, glass fiber and carbon fiber were researched experimentally, and seven RC beams were strengthened with hybrid FRP sheets. The results show that the hybrid FRP composites occurs good hybrid effect, and hybrid effect of CFRP/AFRP/GFRP laminated hybrid composites is optimum, its hybrid effect coefficients is 0.453, and the displacement ductility index for its strengthening RC beam is larger 20% than that of single CFRP sheets strengthening RC beam. Which indicate the hybrid idea of CFRP/AFRP/GFRP can solve the stress transfer question for hybrid composites between carbon fiber and glass fiber, and further improve the ductility of hybrid FRP composites. Based on the experimental study, an elastoplastic section analysis method is conducted to predict the bearing capacity of RC beams strengthened with hybrid FRP sheets, the results from the theoretical predictions and the experiment agree well.
