Abstract:

In order solve the problem that traditional wastewater treatment process can't treat contraceptive wastewater well. 10 superior strains that degrades contraceptive wastewater was isolated from activated sludge of wastewater treatment plant treating wastewater from contraceptive medicine factory. Based on its morphology and 16S rDNA sequence analysis, these bacteria was identified as 5 strains that Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Brevibacillus parabrevis, Acinetobacter lwoffii, Acinetobacter baumannii, Brevibacillus brevis. The studied result showed that superior strains could reduce the density of bio-cultures and degradation time, which made θCOD was 87.5% with ρMLSS = 2000 mg/L in 4 hours. The superior strains also made NH3-N and TIN match the wastewater discharge standard, which couldn't come true depending on simple microbial cultures. At the same time, the fact was indicated by this experiment that the effect of treating contaminant by superior microbial cultures was better than simple microbial cultures during the variation of pH and temperature.
