摘要:
Compared with state feedback and dynamic output feedback controllers, static output feedback control methods are quite promising for applications to the control of civil engineering structures. Based on the simulation results, shaking table test of active structural control was conducted, using the measured output from a limited number of sensors installed at strategic locations of the structure. The tested structure was a five-stories one-fourth scaled building model, equipped with an AMD control system. Two tested cases were given under various earthquake records and the results indicate that the performance of the static output feedback controllers is very remarkable. In addition, for the same model with parametric uncertainties, the experimental results show that the static output feedback controllers are much robuster against possible deviations from the nominal model than the LQR controller. The study can provide a necessary foundation for practical implementations of control systems to civil engineering structures.
