Abstract:

A diode-pumped Nd:GdVO4, type I phase matched LBO intracavity double-frequency red lasers in a short linear cavity is demonstrated. By using the self-designed GRIN, which has great coupling efficiency and smaller spot size, TEM00 mode red laser at 671 nm of 280 mW is obtained when the pump's injection power is 4 W, and the optical-optical conversion efficiency reaches 7%.
