摘要:
Three different cored wires holding the WC, TiC or Cr3C2 ceramic powders respectively were fabricated using 304 stainless steel sheath, ferrite-based composite coatings were deposited on the Q235 steel substrate by arc spraying. The microstructure, phase compositions and worn surface morphologies of the coatings were observed by means of optical, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The abrasion wear behavior of the coatings was examined by a MLS-225 wet sand-rubber wheel tester. The results show that carbide ceramic powders can obviously increase the hardness and abrasive wear resistance of the coatings, the average values of microhardness are about 1100-1200 HV0.1. Under this experimental condition, the abrasive wear resistance of ferrite-based composite coatings is about 6-18 times higher than that of the Q235 steel, and the main abrasion wear forms of the coatings are plastic micro-cutting and brittle peeling.
