摘要:
Nylon 6/nylon 66/thermotropic liquid crystalline polyamide (PA 6/PA 66/TLCPa) blends were prepared by solution blending process. Miscibility and crystallization behavior of the blends were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and wide angle diffractometry (WAXD). The analyses by DSC reveal that the introduction of TLCPa improves the miscibility between nylon 6 and nylon 66 and furthermore, suppresses the crystallization of PA 6/PA 66 blend. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectra prove that a great amount of intermolecular hydrogen bonding form between TLCPa and PA 6 or PA 66 molecules, that is recognized as the main function of TLCPa played in improving miscibility of the blends. The addition of TLCPa does not bring about any impact on the crystallographic form or crystal structure of the blends, but the crystallinity significantly lowers when the mass fraction of TLCPa exceeds 10%, as confirmed by the WAXD analyses.
