The elastic wave equations of fluid-saturated porous media are solved by the time-domain explicit finite element method consisting of explicit step-by-step integral format and local transmitting artifical boundary, and the elastic dynamic response excited by input earthquake wave is evaluated and analyzed to find out the law and property of elastic seismic response of fluid-saturated porous media. The simulated results show that the figures of elastic seismic response time history of porous media are the same as the figures of input earthquake wave, and the time appearing the peak elastic seismic response corresponds to the time of the peak input earthquake wave.
