摘要:
The relations between phosphorus removal and turbidity removal by coagulation are reviewed by laboratory experiments. The effects of coagulant types and pH value to removal performance of phosphorus with different forms are investigated. The coagulation aid effects of potassium permanganate composite (PPC) and polyacrylamide (PAM) on improving phosphorus removal are also studied. The results show that phosphorus removal efficiency is evidently improved by enhanced coagulation. The phosphorus removal efficiency of poly ferric chloride (PFC) is clearly better than poly aluminum chloride (PAC) and poly aluminum-ferric chloride (PAFC). The optimum pH values for PFC, PAC and PAFC are 7.5, 6.5 and 6.0, respectively. It is more difficult to remove dissolved phosphorus generally, but the dissolved phosphorus can be effectively removed when coagulant dosage is increased to a certain level. PPC and PAM show a certain effects of phosphorus removal and coagulation aid, but the dosage and dosing time of PAM must be controlled correctly.
