In　order　to　study　the　rule　of　the　settlement　of　ground　after　seam　of　seismic　two　sides,　which　use　the　different　foundation　forms,　taking　some　multilayer　construction　in　Beijing　as　an　example,　numerical　simulation　nas　been　conducted　by　using　of　FLAC.　The　results　show　that　the　distribution　of　settlement　are　quite　different　when　strip　and　raft　foundations　are　used　respectively　and　the　reasons　caused　these　differences　have　also　been　analyzed.　It　pointed　out　that　when　using　the　strip　the　foundation　reasonable　width　of　it　should　be　gained　through　the　settlement　of　ground　analysis.
