Eco-indicator method was used to carry out data inventory, damage assessment and eco-indicator calculation to find out some measures of decreasing the environmental burdens of Beijing cement production. The damaged results indicated that energy consumption was the largest environment burden for Beijing cement production, and then the land occupation and land conversion; the normalized and weighted assessment showed that the environmental burdens, especially for the damage to human health and ecosystem quality, was becoming more and more serious with the increase of eco-indicator value of Beijing cement production.
