Abstract:
An experimental study on seismic performances of two precast concrete frame connections connected with the prestressted method and one cast-in-place concrete connection subjected to cyclic loading are conducted. In order to provide the basis data for establishing the aseismic design method of precast concrete frame connections connected with the prestressted method, the failure pattern, hysteresis loop curves, displacement-restoring capacity, displacement ductility and energy dissipation are investigated. The studied results show that the precast concrete frame connections connected with the prestressed method are equal or superior to that of the cast-in-place concrete connection on seismic performances. It is also shown that the limit deformation and the displacement-restoring capacity of the former are better than the latter.
