Abstract:

Based on the expression of element compliance matrix which is derived by Gao, YC(2003), the governing equation and the node-displacement formula expressed by the base forces are obtained via the complementary energy principle and Lagrange multiplier method for complementary finite-element method. A program for the finite element method is developed to solve several problems of elasticity theory, and the numerical results are consistent with those of the theoretical solutions to show the further application foreground.
