In　recent　years　PPP　mode　not　only　actively　promotes　the　development　of　urban　rail　transit　project　in　China,　but　also　brings　great　challenges　in　safety　management　issues　where　participants　need　to　embrace　the　new　responsibilities　that　come　with　new　mode.　To　find　out　the　situation　about　safety　management　of　PPP　urban　rail　transit　project,　this　research　carried　out　field　investigation　and　online　questionnaire　survey.　It　can　be　concluded　the　current　situation　from　the　research,　then　describes　it　from　the　following　two　aspects:　several　existing　different　main　participants　relationships　and　three　safety　management　modes;　next　summaries　the　existing　problems　of　the　PPP　rail　transit　project;　finally　proposes　some　solutions　to　the　issues　discussed　above.　This　research　aims　to　provide　some　ideas　for　the　practitioners　of　PPP　rail　transit　projects　in　China　and　improves　safety　management　of　PPP　rail　transit　project　construction.　©　8th　International　Symposium　on　Project　Management,　ISPM　2020.　All　rights　reserved.
