摘要:
As one of practical solutions for sustainable construction, deconstructable steel structures have increasingly gained attention by either academia or industry, which are beneficial for full-life cycle performance in terms of overall cost, environmental protection and ability of re-use. Development of innovative and adequate configurations of connections and joints are essential for such advanced structural system. This paper reviews briefly research advances on the deconstructable steel structures, including steel-concrete composite beams, beam-to-column joints, column-to-column joints, as well as structural systems. Development of blind bolt products for achieving the deconstructable connections is also reviewed. Finally, a new type of blind bolted connection adapted from conventional high-strength bolts is introduced, of which the shear performance under static loading is described experimentally, and its application cases are discussed. The work presented herein may improve the development of deconstructable steel structures and promote their practical application. Copyright © 2018 by The Hong Kong Institute of Steel Construction.
