摘要:
For the converter stations in the areas of high seismic intensity, the seismic performance of converter valve tower has a large impact on the safe operation of converter stations. We take HV side converter valve halls and converter valve towers in ±1,100 kV ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) converter stations as the prototypes to establish the finite element models and perform the analysis and calculation of time history response. The results show that the horizontal displacement response at the bottom of valve tower under the seismic action with a peak acceleration of 0.2g can be larger than 0.7 m and that the maximum stress of pull rod insulators in this situation is 290 MPa. It is recommended to take the structural measures to improve the suspension structures of converter valve towers, thus preventing the buckling of suspension insulators and reducing the horizontal displacement response at the bottoms of valve towers. © 2019 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).
