摘要:
Acoustic emission (AE) technique was used to characterize the damage fracture process of reinforced concrete (RC) beam subjected to four-point bending. Mechanical performances and AE parameters were recorded through laboratory experiment. Gaussian filtering was adopted to interpret the AE energy and e-value obtained during testes to characterize the crack intensity and behavior. The results reveal that Gaussian filtered AE energy can realize the identification of the damage fracture process, and five stages can be classified. As for Gaussian filtered o-value, crack behavior identification effect of o-values calculated from all sensors is unsatisfactory. However, Gaussian filtered 6-values obtained from amplitudes recorded through sensors at critical damage regions present clear trend and favorable identification effect. © International Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring.
