As the development of integrated space-terrestrial information network technology, the satellite network technology and the ground network technology cannot match each other very well, even though they are all mature technologies. In recent years, with the integration and fusion of satellite network and ground interconnection network, through the transformation and modification their shortcomings and exerting their merits, the integrated space-terrestrial information network has achieved very progress and its implementation technology is mainly in satellite protocol conversion technology. As known, there is a big difference lying in the design requirement of space network protocol and ground network protocol. For example, both sides of the dataflow in the ground network provide consistent service, meaning that the protocol should be symmetric; However, the two sides of the dataflow in the space network provide different procedures, meaning that the protocol in the design should be asymmetric. The main reason is that the space network protocol is a spatial carrier, the other side is the ground station, and they have different procedures. This paper devised an integrated communication network framework between backbone satellite node and ground station, proposed a communication architecture of space ground integrated information network which adopt simplified IP protocol, and analyzed the feasibility of the implementation is analyzed from the view of business process. © 2016 IEEE.
