摘要:

In order to study the nonlinearity of the queuing progress of traffic flow at signalized intersections, this paper applies hybrid system theory to traffic flow model. A hybrid automata model for the traffic flow is built up based on an improved Cell Transmission Model (CTM) and shockwave theory. The modeling method is applied to an intersection to illustrate the efficacy of the modeling method by analysis with actual data. © 2014 American Society of Civil Engineers.
