With the booming development of urban subway construction, the underground complex that combines with transport hub has entered the high-speed development period. Hub atrium of underground complex integrates traffic space with public space and commercial space together, which features unique advantages such as more exciting experience, more effective connection, and more attractive for traveling and shopping people. It should have great potentiality. TliLs paper first discusses the advantage and characteristic of hub atrium site in land use, function efficiency, space quality. Secondly, the paper analyzes the difficulties of evacuation design to this kind of space because the function is highly integrated and attribute multiple compound brought about by it. And this as the goal, puts forward relevant space design countermeasures from the overall layout, traffic and way finding space.
