Abstract:
A study on the method of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for many groups of coherent and uncorrelated sources under nonstationary noise fields is described in this paper. The proposed algorithm can separate the uncorrelated and coherent sources by making use of oblique projection, and it uses fewer sensors when estimating the same sources compared with the conventional methods. Further more, the effect of the nonstationary noise is eliminated because it is translated into white noise using improved Toeplitz matrix. At the same time, the performance of many algorithms is compared by simulation, the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed algorithm is verified. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
