Abstract:

As one of the fastest growing detectors in recent years, infrared detectors are widely used in military and civil use,and play an irreplaceable role.By analysing and generalizing some of the relevant english literature of recent years, This article describes the development of a variety of new infrared detectors domestic and abroad, including Pb-salt array detector double-color/multicolor MCT (HgCdTe) detector MCT array detector planar linear array InGaAs detector and so on. Self-cooled dark current correction of Pb-salt detectors;The developments of third generation MCT devices in array size double-color/multicolor very long wavelength application of photovoltaic tech-nology amplifier capability ; The current-voltage measurement of eight element planar linear array InGaAs detector the difference between a peak response rate obtained through the signal noise,and the corresponding spectra and the theoretical values and etc were analyzed. According to the current development state of infrared detector,we analyze application prospect in railway infrared hotbox detection system.These new infrared detectors will be developed and improved in the next 3-5years,and then the level of production can be achieved. © 2011 IEEE.
