摘要:
A micromechanical model of reticulate carbon nanotube (R-CNT) composite is theoretically constructed to study its overall behaviour under large deformation. Using incremental form of two-scale expansion method for large deformed material, the overall stress-strain relations of R-CNT composites are predicted. The influences of microstructural parameters and volume fraction of the CNT on the overall mechanical properties of the R-CNT composite are investigated for the design consideration of new composites with optimal properties. It is shown that the effective properties of the R-CNT composites have a serious microstructural dependence for the large deformation situation.
