In　order　to　identify　the　commercialization　potential　of　emerging　technology,　based　on　conventional　methodologies,　this　paper　propose　a　new　approach　of　combining　the　subjective　perspectives　and　the　objective　perspectives.　The　subjective　perspectives　of　the　approaches　is　to　identify　the　commercialization　potential　of　emerging　technology　by　the　experience　and　knowledge　of　expert　on　judging　the　marketing　potential,　the　industrialization　process.　On　the　other　hand,　the　emerging　technology　how　to　develop　is　expert-independent,　we　can　find　some　evidences　to　evaluate　the　feasibility　of　commercialization　of　emerging　technology　by　using　objective　information　from　internet,　patents,　and　policies　and　planning,　etc.　so,　the　evaluation　on　the　commercialization　potential　of　emerging　technology　should　reflect　all　of　the　attention　to　the　objective　fact.　Therefore,　this　paper　set　forth　the　evaluation　on　the　subjective　judgment　firstly,　secondly,　we　discuss　the　evaluation　on　the　objective　judgment,　and　then　the　main　steps　of　combining　subjective　judgment　and　objective　judgment　are　illustrated.　©　2010　IEEE.
