Based　on　the　existing　research　achievements　in　the　study　of　the　regional　technology　innovation　ecosystem　(RTIE),　this　paper　distinguishes　the　concepts　of　efficiency,　benefit,　performance　and　defines　the　concept　of　RTIE　performance　through　multiple　disciplines.　It　then　goes　on　to　analyze　the　factors　impacting　the　performance　of　RTIE.　Finally,　the　paper　explores　the　possibility　of　analyzing　the　RTIE　performance　by　the　entropy　concept　and　advances　the　concept　of　performance　entropy.
