摘要:

This paper presents a new chatter suppression method for overcoming the problem that the stiffness of the grinding wheel spindle system is difficult to increase in the case of the internal grinding. This method employed a spindle base with actively controlled compliance to on-line suppress the grinding chatter. This base is designed utilizing flexure hinge technique and controlled using piezoelectric actuators. Based on the employment of this compliant spindle base, a varying stiffness control strategy is presented to suppress chatter in the internal grinding. At last, the simulation results are given for proving the effectiveness of this control method.
