Abstract:
The carbonizing process of Mo-La2O3 tubes and its influence on the tube's emission properties were analyzed. It was indicated that carbonizing causes drastic changes in the morphological structures of the cathode, and the diffusion coefficients of La in Mo-C were five orders of magnitude in the case of La in Mo. It was observed that the carbonized ratio increased with the increase of the C6H6 pressure when the pressure was low. The maximum carbonized ratio reached 19.7 at 1.5×10 -2Pa and them go down sharply when the C6H6 pressure was over 1.5×10-2s Pa.
