摘要:
The low-rise RC shear wall with bi-directional single row of steel bars is applicable for multistory residence building. In order to know the seismic performance of this shear wall, experimental studies on four low-rise RC shear walls with shear-span ratio 1.0 under a low-frequency quasi-static cyclic loading were carried out. Four low-rise shear walls include three shear walls with bi-directional single row of steel bars, one of which with concealed bracing, and one normal shear wall with bi-directional double rows of steel bars. Based upon the experimental studies, the stiffness and its degradation, load-carrying capacity, ductility, hysteretic behavior, energy dissipation and failure phenomena of each shear wall with different design parameters are contrastively analyzed, and the effects of concealed bracing on the seismic performance of the shear wall are discussed. Experiments of the shear walls indicate that the low-rise RC shear wall with bi-directional single row of steel bars through rational designing is able to satisfy the requirements of seismic design for the multistory residence building.
