To coordinate well the relationship between resource, environment and economy is the premise to solve the contradiction between environment and economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and an important step to promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province. Based on the framework of material flow analysis, an evaluation index system is established and used to evaluate the evolution trend for the coordinated development of resource, environment and economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region during 1992-2015.The results show that the evolution trend for the coordinated development of resources, environment and economy in Beijing is the best among three places in this region. Probably impacted by the planning and construction of Binhai New Area, the development index of resources system in Tianjin has not recovered obviously, which is the main factor that influences the coordinated development of resources, environment and economy in Tianjin. The evolution trend of the coordinated development of resources, environment and economy in Hebei province has obviously picked up. In the context of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, all the three places shall position itself accurately, strengthen cooperation each other, to realize the coordinated development of resource environment and economy in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region. © 2018, China National Chemical Information Center.
