Abstract:

In this paper, nonlinear finite element analysis of R. C. shear wall with concealed bracings under unilateral load is carried out by ANSYS program in order to understand the evolution of crack patterns, deformation and failure of the specimens. The finite element computing results agree well with actual measured ones.
