摘要：

New　exact　traveling　wave　solutions　are　derived　for　the　fifth　order　KdV　type　equations　by　using　a　delicate　way　of　rank　analysis　two-step　ansatz　method.　Solitary　shallow-water　waves　described　by　the　above　equation　are　discussed.
