Abstract:
An experiment investigation on characteristics of air-water two-phase flow patterns and pressure drop of the screw channel by using high speed flow visualization are presented. The flow pattern maps of screw channel are presented and compare its transition boundary with the flow pattern presented by Taitel et. al. The two phase flow multiplier correlation was obtained by the fitting curves of experimental data. In addition, the effect of mass void fraction and liquid superficial velocity on pressure drop was analyzed in the screw channel. © 2016, Science Press. All right reserved.
