In　social　system,　social　traffic　behavior　has　drastic　consequences　on　the　demand　and　supply　for　urban　traffic.　As　a　popular　choice　for　traffic　activities,　social　traffic　behavior　is　the　sum　of　group　behavior　during　the　process　of　regulating　supply　and　demand　balance.　This　article　investigates　the　social-traffic　macro　interaction.　From　the　perspective　of　both　static　social　system　and　dynamic　social　life,　this　article　studies　the　social　nature　of　traffic　behavior,　the　effects　of　social　system　on　the　traffic　behavior,　the　drive　of　social　life　on　the　traffic　behavior　and　the　impacts　of　traffic　behavior　on　the　social　operation,　in　order　to　predict　and　to　control　the　traffic　behavior　by　exploring　the　behavior　regularity.　©　2016,　Editorial　Department　of　Journal　of　Wuhan　University　of　Technology.　All　right　reserved.
