Abstract:
An experiment was carried out to study the post fire performance of steel reinforced concrete (SRC) columns, and a numerical simulation method for the post fire performance of the SRC columns was proposed on the basis of the experimental study. A finite element model for the temperature analysis of the SRC columns exposed to fire including the heating and cooling phases was proposed by programming a subroutine based on the ABAQUS software. At the same time, a numerical simulation method for the post fire performance of the SRC columns subjected fire including the heating and cooling phases was proposed, and the material constitutive relations in the heating phase, cooling phase and post fire phase was considered in this method. The numerical simulation was carried out by choosing the appropriate material constitutive relations and developing a user field subroutine on the platform of the ABAQUS. It shows that the calculation results agree well with those of the test results, which shows that the proposed numerical simulation method is reasonable. © 2016, Science Press. All right reserved.
