Abstract:
To find out the related factors affecting the underground complex spatial way-finding, through the spatial way-finding experiment of Beijing 77th street in Xidan underground complex, the way-finding process of the users was tracked. The cognitive map was drew and the users' way-finding feeling was interviewed, and difficulty and key point of the users in the way-finding process were mastered. Analysis shows that layout irregular vertical space is one of the important causes for way-finding difficulty, and space environmental cues design can be one of the most important means used as the spatial way-finding.
