摘要:
In order to achieve efficient leaching rate of rare earths from waste phosphors in cathode ray tube (CRT), a method of combining high-temperature alkali fusion and acid leaching was studied. The effects of the calcination temperature, the alkali-to-slag mass ratio and the calcination time on the leaching rate of rare earths were mainly investigated. The phase structure, surface morphology, particle size of material before and after alkali fusion were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and laser particle sizer. The results showed that the waste phosphors in CRT contained Y, Eu, and rare earth oxide up to 26.79%, so it is of great value in recovery. When calcination temperature was 700°C, the alkali-to-slag mass ratio was 4:1, and when the calcination time was 30 min, the phase compositions of waste phosphors in cathode ray tube could be changed and converted to substances easily react with acid, the leaching rate of Y and Eu reaches more than 99.7%.
